	What kind of assistance can I expect? Printwell provides a complete turn-key package, which includes:  Location A location selected on the basis of Market Analysis by Printwell. Printwell enters into the head lease with the property owner; the franchisee signs the sublease with Printwell.  Design and Construction The design and construction is arranged by Printwell. The franchisee enters into the contractual agreements with the authorized contractors, and actual construction of the location is supervised by the Company.  Trademarks As a franchisee you will be entitled to the use of the registered Printwell name and registered trademarks in connection with the operation of your location.  Training and Opening Assistance You will receive a two (2) weeks training program. This will be followed by one full week of intensive on-site supervision to ensure a smooth 'Grand Opening' at your franchise location.  Purchasing All goods, services and supplies are provided through an approved central supply network.  On-Going Assistance A Field Representative will visit your outlet regularly to offer assistance and review your operation to ensure constant quality control of products, customer service and housekeeping. In addition to its quality control program, the Company also provides continuously updated operations as well as centralized control and operating systems. Printwell also provides its Franchisees with on-going access to supervisory personnel with expertise in areas such as finance, accounting and marketing.  What is the initial Franchise Fee? $25,000.00  How much are the on-going Royalties? 6% of gross sales, payable weekly.  How much is the Advertising Fee? 3% of gross sales, payable weekly.  What is the cost of opening a Printwell Franchise? The cost of opening a Printwell location can vary depending on size, location, configuration and other factors.  How much money can a Franchisee expect to earn? While we have included a schedule of potential earnings and cash flows for your review, please be advised that your actual earning depend on a number of variables including location, your personal ability to hire, train and motivate employees, the amount of time you will personally devote to your business and competitive factors.  How do I finance the purchase of a franchise? While Printwell can assist you with submitting an application for the financing to a lending institute, there is no direct financing available from Printwell. We recommend that you have a minimum of $75,000.00 of unencumbered cash.  What is the initial term of the Franchise Agreement? Five (5) years. The initial fee paid by the Franchisee is applicable to the duration of the original term.  Is previous experience in the printing or technology industry necessary? No. Previous experience in the printing or technology industry may be considered an asset or an obstacle depending on whether the prospective Franchisee has acquired definite ideas and habits during the course of his/her experience, and is unable to follow and adapt to new management, organizational and marketing directives provided by Printwell. With or without experience, however, the Franchisee must possess the management skills to successfully direct the operation of a Printwell location.  Is the Franchisee required to purchase inventory, equipment and supplies directly from Printwell? Yes. However, if there are items that are not available through Printwell the Franchisee must purchase any equipment or supplies from approved suppliers who have demonstrated the ability to supply these items according to Printwell standards and specifications.  Does Printwell assist Franchisees in acquiring the various permits and licenses required for the opening and running of the new location? Yes. Printwell offers its full assistance in helping the Franchisee obtain all permits and licenses.  Once the Franchise Agreement is signed, how much time lapses before the location is operational? The location is the determining factor. Depending upon the location and landlords work completion, normally a eight week period is required before opening.  Do I have to be actively involved in the day to day operation of the location? While this is not mandatory, it is highly recommended that the Franchisee become personally involved in all facets of the business. The success of a Printwell operation is substantially dependent on the entrepreneurial skills and attitude of the Franchisee.  Is it possible for several partners to acquire a single Printwell location? Yes. Several persons may cooperate and obtain a single franchise. Ideally it is preferable to keep the number of associates to three so as to minimize communication problems and management conflicts.  Must all partners dedicate themselves to the full-time management of the Printwell location? No. Printwell reserves the right to free any partners from daily management of the location. It is however, imperative that at least one partner dedicate all his/her time to daily management and running of the unit.  What steps must be followed in order to obtain a Printwell Franchise? The number of franchises available is limited at any given time. We suggest that the Printwell Confidential Credit Application be completed and returned to Printwell via fax, mail or courier.  Can a Franchisee own more than one Franchise? Yes, provided that the Franchisee has demonstrated to the satisfaction of Printwell that he/she is financially capable and can properly manage more than one location. Please understand that Printwell will not make any prior commitment to a Franchisee in this regard, and any opportunity for multiple locations is a function of performance at the Franchisee's existing location over a reasonable period of time.  May the Franchise be sold at any time? Yes, at any time during the franchise term, subject to Printwell approval of the prospective purchaser, who must meet all Printwell standards at the time. This approval is granted in the same manner as for the original Franchisee, taking into account current operating and market conditions.
